Our Story

EYE-DEm (Ellu Dickson Youth Entrepreneurship Development and Empowerment) Foundation is a project born out of the desire to reposition teenagers and youth within Nigeria with the right mindset for wealth creation and nation-building through skill acquisition, technical skills and entrepreneurial capacity. We are a registered Non-Governmental Organization with a Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, on April 23rd, 2025.

It has been observed that teenagers and youths in Nigeria are increasingly disinterested in acquiring technical skills. This is evident from the fact that when visiting most technical workshops, such as welding or automobile workshops, it is difficult to find apprentices. Apprenticeship is on the decline in Nigeria, as fewer people are interested in acquiring technical skills. If this trend continues, it will erode the technical expertise and skills of artisans, ultimately leading to significant social and economic disruptions. Many teenagers are being influenced by cyber fraud, money rituals, gambling, drugs, and other social vices. This is harmful to any society, and there is an urgent need to address it. Hence, the EYE-DEm Foundation Project was set up.

Vision

The EYE-DEm Foundation aims to empower Nigerian teenagers and youth with essential technical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge to foster a generation that believes in wealth creation through hard work and innovation. This initiative seeks to combat the alarming trend of youth engagement in cyber fraud, drug peddling, and other vices. By targeting the youth demographic of 15-24 years in Delta State, we plan to create a sustainable model that enhances societal development and economic growth, ensuring a brighter future for Nigeria.

Oghale Dickson Ellu

Founder/Chief Executive Officer

Oghale Dickson Ellu is a Business Consultant and ECOWAS Ambassador. He is the CEO of WinnersEdu. Travels Consult and WinnersEdu. International Limited. Ex-President and BOT member of Egalitarian Society of Educationist. He is Passionate about Human Capital Development among young people, known for building entrepreneurial capacity and technical skills for nation-building.

He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. A Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology (Electronics and Telecommunication) from the Petroleum Training Institute. And a National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi.

Peter Christian Omeije

Technical Director

Peter Christian Omeije is an IT technocrat emerging and transforming the tech space with intellisense (AI and IOT). He is the lead design director and CIO (Creative Innovative Officer) with PROXIMA, and he is an IT analyst and consultant. He studied Computer Science and Science education at Ebonyi State University.

He believes strongly in the development process of the young by setting them up early to pursue their purpose. Education is vital for the young and all, as it is the bedrock for the development and growth of any society. He is currently investing in technology and training the young to find their path in Tech to enable them to thrive. He is 100% given to research-driven projects that will further enhance social engineering.

He is a Cyber Security expert, amongst others, he has served in different organizations to support the IT backbone of those companies that are based in the US and Nigeria. He is a tech leadership trainer based in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.

Engr. Oboidhe Benedith

Director of Communication and Investment

Engr. Oboidhe Benedith is a Petroleum Engineer, presently working with NLNG Limited; He also worked briefly with the Delta State Ministry of Energy. Engr. Oboidhe Benedith holds a B. Eng. Degree from the University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, ND, and an HND in Petroleum Engineering from Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State.

He adequately represented the Delta State Student community locally and at the National level with an effective leadership style and purpose as a former NADESSTU PTI Chapter President and later NADESSTU National President. He has been working with the EYE-DEm Foundation right from Inception as the Coordinator Industry.

Engr. Queen Uche Chigbo

Member Board of Directors

Engr. Queen Uche Chigbo is an Electrical Engineer, a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and certified by COREN. She is presently the Product Development Manager at the Niger Benue Transport Company LTD (NBTC LTD) in Ovwian, Delta State.

She has a robust background in Project and People Management, having gained a lot of experience over a decade as an Engineer in managing projects and stakeholders. Her leadership roles include Dry Plant Manager at NBTC Ltd, Product Development Manager at NBTC LTD, Publicity Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Warri Branch, as well as the Vice-Chairman of APWEN Warri Chapter.

Mr. Kukaye Malvin Nnamdi is an experienced and dedicated professional with extensive background in education, environmental management, and community empowerment, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Management at Enugu State University of Science and Technology. With a strong academic foundation, including a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and a Professional Diploma in Education, he has acquired a diverse skill set in curriculum development, training, and program management.
Over the years, he has supervised consultant projects under the World Bank and EU-Assisted Projects, managed teams, and conducted monitoring and evaluation activities. Additionally, he has worked internationally as a Geography Teacher and Lecturer in Liberia, where he led youth empowerment programs on HIV/AIDS awareness and drug abuse prevention.
With over 10 years of experience in both teaching and project management, he is well-equipped to lead and direct skill empowerment initiatives, focusing on training, capacity building, and community development. He will bring a deep commitment to fostering personal growth, improving livelihoods, and enhancing educational opportunities for individuals in underserved communities.
